GEN May 2025 issue cover

The month of May brings with it spring and an abundance of new growth and life. In this issue of GEN we celebrate the abundance of stories highlighting progress and growth in the field of cell and gene therapy in a special American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT) issue. Ahead of the 28th ASGCT meeting, GEN spoke with the organization’s leadership about their perspectives on scientific advances, new tools, and the current state of funding constraints. Other topics in this issue include the ongoing efforts in CAR T-cell therapy, innovative delivery techniques, including high-tech nanoparticles and electroporation devices, and progress in improving AAV-based gene therapies. Additionally, the magazine includes a story discussing how current setbacks cannot prevent gene-editing companies from advancing closer to “one-and-done” cures and new products. Finally, the May issue also includes “The Top 10 Best-Selling Gene Therapies.”
